I must've been drunk last night: when we went into F & M I do believe I hollered out, "I love this place!" If you'd like more details please see my other online journal, "ObviouslyLoaded". You can also find digi pix of me & my "sistahs" dancing on the pool-table and mp3's of my new band with Dr. 1000 of which I am the drummer - we'll be playing an F & M garden party as soon as possible (you'll also find a link to the graphic artist who will be designing our glossy postcards to advertise the gig). You won't find that stuff here. Here I am an elegant, intellectually stimulating, sexy 1940's-style vamp who is too brilliant & focused for such antics. She never makes men dance to 3rd rate "hip hop music". She lets you win all of the trivia games. She doesn't crash into potted plants or beg you to screw her. Um, she's a frickin' drag, am I right?!! I said, am I right?!!
Photo shoot this eve - I'm excited to take men on the roof & make them do my bidding.
I hate all music right now.
Chet Baker's face is scary.
Love,
Her

Some things don't have to be anymore than just themselves and when they are they're just exactly enough.

A weekend of high highs and witnessed lows and the grass keeps growing. Bbq, picture books, bike ride, birthday cake, watermelon w/lime juice. I was serenaded in my backyard while the hot gold twilight came down. The night was memorable for being pulled outside to see the rain dumping down on Claiborne Street (the band was great - it's just I'm a purveyor of skewed magic moments). Jukebox dancing into the wee hours with a man's head on my shoulder. There was alot of food shared, including fried chicken that seemed to come at a very high price. In my dream I put those funny plastic baggies on my shoes - the map of my travels was in 3D and very elaborate. I wake and feel I've barely moved. Both cats just puked. I am reminded of my lack of importance within events of great importance.

I get to eat catfish sometimes; the fork is a curious tool. Tool of great elegance, we take this moment to honor its shiny simplicity. It was a Tuesday night in New Orleans. David ate an entire pig with his. Talk about simple elegances - I could even stab you with it!

Dream: I recovered all of the old albums I gave away when I moved to the East Coast, including the first pressing of the Clash's first album, import only!, Muddy Waters & His Brass, AC/DC Back In Black, Neil Young's Transformer, etc. Then I began writing all the phone numbers of all the people on my left hand & arm. Ended up levitating in my back yard where the elephant ears are as tall as the shed. The wishes tied in the dead Japanese Magnolia are glowing. While I was floating up there I saw him & her in the yard next over. It wasn't pretty. I sat with Fork talking about attachment, about letting go, true love, loving without expectation. She had a bottle of vodka like in the old days. It was icy good. After we drank in our cermonial green glasses we peeked back over the fence. He's there alone now crying a bloody mess. Literally, there's blood all over. She's stabbed him. When he wakes up he's in my bed and he insists that the cat Sif was talking to him. We laugh. I'm drinking coffee and everyone is outside with a cake and a gigantic wrapped box I'm going to give him. The phones all ring at once. Wake up! Everything will be alright if you can just let go! Andrew tells me stories about New Year's Eve. I'm appalled and saddened, my little hand to my little chest, my big eyes get big. He says You just can't help it Elizabeth, you are the loving kindness. The box got small and more precious. I'm going to eat some cake now. Per my usual dream trajectory, that's when I wake up.
